The Rampurhat College, Rampurhat, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal, is proud to host the 7th Regional Science and Technology Congress 2025 for Region 3. This prestigious event will take place on 10th–11th January 2025 at the Rampurhat College Campus, Rampurhat, Birbhum, West Bengal-731224.

This Regional Congress is a significant precursor to the 32nd West Bengal State Science and Technology Congress, scheduled for 28th February – 1st March 2025. It aims to provide an exceptional platform for scientists, researchers, and professionals to present cutting-edge research, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on advancements across diverse scientific disciplines.

Event Highlights

• Keynote Address
  Delivered by Prof. Naba Kumar Mondal, INSA Senior Scientist at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata – an internationally renowned physicist and a distinguished leader in the field.
• Memorial Lectures
• To honor India’s illustrious scientific pioneers, distinguished scholars will deliver lectures on recent advancements in science and technology:
  o Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis:
  Delivered by Prof. Suman Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi.
  o Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose:
  Delivered by Dr. Somenath Dutta, Scientist G, Regional Meteorological Centre, Kolkata.
  o Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman:
  Delivered by Prof. Ujjwal Maulik, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University.
• Research Paper Presentations
• Approximately 350 scientists, professionals, and scholars will present their latest research findings, fostering knowledge exchange, innovation, and meaningful collaborations.
